Chore Money Jar is a family chore-and-allowance tracker provided by Marg Tech LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions? Email margtechllcsupport@gmail.com.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking. Chore Money Jar includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not collect financial account information. Chore Money Jar never holds, moves, or processes real money. "Pay out" only records that you handed money to your child outside the app.
We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
Chore Money Jar is designed for families and is meant to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Grown-ups create and control their children's accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without a parent's involvement. A parent can review or delete their child's information at any time by managing the family in the app or by contacting us.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on Google's infrastructure. We share information only with these service providers as needed to run Chore Money Jar, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app: open the account menu in the top-right and choose Delete my account. If you own the family, Delete family removes every member, all chores, and all history. You can also email margtechllcsupport@gmail.com and we'll delete your family's data.
Your data is encrypted in transit. We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
