By using Chore Money Jar ("the app"), provided by Marg Tech LLC, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Chore Money Jar is a tool for families to track chores and allowance. It is not a bank, money transmitter, or payment service. Chore Money Jar does not hold, transfer, or process real money. Balances and "pay out" records are for tracking only — any actual money is moved by you, outside the app, using whatever method you choose.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be a parent or legal guardian (or have their permission) to create and manage children's accounts, and you are responsible for the accounts you create for your family.
You can delete your account at any time from the account menu in the app. If you own the family, deleting it removes every member, all chores, and all history. Deleting your account ends your access to the app and the data associated with it.
Use the app only for its intended, lawful purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service or access data that isn't yours.
Chore Money Jar is provided for general household and educational use and does not provide financial, legal, or professional advice.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marg Tech LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any amounts tracked or any money you choose to move outside the app.
We may update the app or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Marg Tech LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
